Rumina decollata Controls Brown Garden Snails Ideal for long-term control of brown snails (Cantareus aspersus, formerly Helix aspersa and Cryptomphalus aspersus), Rumina decollata is a predacious snail that feeds on its own cousin. The Decollate snail is smaller than the garden snail and has a cone shaped shell. It does not climb as well as the garden snail, but prefers to burrow in the soil in search of snail eggs.
