Associates Insectary is one of the largest producers of beneficial organisms in North America. Our sales have grown not through advertising, but due to our industry reputation for prompt, reliable shipments of high quality beneficials. We hand-raise our insects year round at our five acre facility in Santa Paula, California and because of this, we are consistently able to provide large quantities of fresh beneficials on short notice. More importantly, all of our beneficials are raised on live prey making them better adapted to searching for pests in the wild as opposed to those which wait to be fed an artificial diet. Since we are a grower-owned cooperative, the beneficials you receive are the same high quality insects that our grower-members expect to be released in their orchards.
We provide custom packaging to meet your individual needs. We also offer a variety of containers from which to choose from depending on the quantity of beneficials required. We guarantee the quality and the freshness of our beneficials upon arrival. We will gladly replace any shipments deemed inadequate upon request.
To retain our quality guarantee, all insects are freshly collected and shipped with nutrition to maintain vigor. An added bonus is that all beneficials are shipped host free and with no contamination to contend with when releasing. We always include additional beneficials in each container to compensate for any potential loss which may occur during transit. If the mortality rate is excessive, replacement insects are offered, given that Associates is notified immediately upon receipt and the original beneficials are returned to the Insectary at no cost to you.
Our beneficials are available for local pick-up or direct shipping to you or blind-drop shipping direct to your customers. There is no mark-up on shipping charges and we can use your existing shipping account for direct-to-you billing if preferred. Online payment is available for certain orders.
Due to existing high seasonal demand, ultra-large orders may require additional lead times to properly coordinate production with overall market demand.
